Rounding out the summer of celebrity splits, Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt are the latest famous couple—and hopefully last of 2015—to call it quits. The pair confirmed today that they have decided to end their 18-year relationship.
"With great sadness, we have decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history," Hamm and Westfeldt tell PEOPLE in a joint statement. "We will continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward."
Their separation comes months after the two fended off rumors of trouble in paradise back in April. While love may officially be dead now (see: Bennifer, Blake and Miranda, Kourtney and Scott, et al.), we can breathe a bit easier with the promise that this breakup won't be bitter. Fingers crossed, at least.
